The Mobile World Congress (MWC) will take place in Barcelona, starting February 26th, and Sivers IMA will attend the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry to engage with customers to show and discuss around new products and the future of millimeter wave technology.
Last year at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Sivers IMA Holding AB (Sivers IMA) and Cambridge Communication Systems (CCS) signed a contract for the development of a 60GHz radio module for CCS’ new self-organizing (SON) mmWave access and backhaul Metnet node. During this year’s show in Barcelona, CCS is showcasing its new product.
Sivers IMA Holding is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, CST Global (CST), has received £151,699 (approx. MSEK 1.7) from the British government to lead the HELCATS (High-power, phosphorous-based, DFB lasers for cold atom systems) project. The total project budget is £497,574, with government funding of nearly 80 percent. The project will run from March 2018 to February 2019.
As previously announced, Sivers IMA Holding AB (“Sivers IMA”) signed an agreement on the acquisition of all shares in Compound Semiconductor Technologies Global Limited (“CST Global”), that designs, manufactures and supplies semiconductor lasers and others semiconductor optical products.
In connection with the acquisition on May 19, 2017, Sivers IMA paid an initial purchase price to the sellers of CST Global of 27,924,998 shares in Sivers IMA. The seller is further entitled to an additional purchase price of 13 962 499 newly issued shares in Sivers IMA, if CST Global’s revenues during 2017 exceed 6.5 MGBP (approximately 72,8 MSEK). CST Global’s revenues in 2017 amount to approximately 6.7 MGBP (about MSEK 75), which means that sellers are entitled to the agreed additional purchase price.
