KISTA, Sweden – April 14, 2020 Sivers IMA Holding AB (Nasdaq First North Growth Market: SIVE) today announced that its subsidiary, CST Global, received a development order worth SEK 7.5 million from a US Fortune 100 customer. The order is for the supply of photonic semiconductor devices within the optical sensing market. It will be delivered and billed during 2020.
“We are very excited to deliver our photonic laser to be used for this sensing application to this US Fortune 100 customer. This is the second US Fortune 100 customer that has chosen our photonic semiconductor devices. This shows that our Photonics devices are innovative and state of the art,” said Anders Storm, CEO of Sivers IMA.
The development order includes design services as well as delivery of early prototype samples.
The global optical sensing photonic laser market is estimated to grow to USD 664 million by 2024 from USD 183 million in 2018, according to Yole Développement.
