Sivers IMA Launches state-of-the-art 2D Beamforming RF-Module for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)

KISTA, SWEDEN, September 30th, 2020 - Sivers IMA Holding AB (Nasdaq First North Growth Market: SIVE) today proudly announced the launch of the new two-dimensional (2D) state-of-the-art 60 GHz Beamforming Radio Frequency (RF) Module, BFM06009, covering the full 14 GHz of bandwidth (57-71 GHz). Two-dimensional beam steering offers both horizontally and vertically electrical steering of the antenna beam. This unique module helps customers to differentiate their products in the 60 GHz unlicensed “5G band” for Fixed Wireless Access. This 2D module is optimized for large-scale manufacturing with best in class competitive performance.

The module has been developed to fulfill generic as well as specific customer requirements with very positive feedback from lead customers. For existing 60 GHz customers, Sivers IMA offers a unique solution to enable backwards compatibility with the new module without needing to change the existing footprint. New customers will benefit from a smaller, less complex footprint optimized for large scale manufacturing.
