Research and Development
Sivers IMA has a genuine experience in designing oscillator products and subsystems. We have developed YIG oscillators and VCOs since 1968.
Sivers IMA is currently fully equipped for development of oscillator products and subsystems up to 50 GHz to cover the frequencies required for the next generation of microwave components and systems.
We are using state-of-the-art CAD software for micro strip and transmission mechanics including the latest available means for simulation and optimization in order to achieve high speed, trim-free production with a maximum yield.
The R&D department has full access to environmental test equipment as well as in-house test runs of prototypes and pre-series in real production. Streamlining and maintenance of the products during their life cycle is a crucial task for keeping them state-of-the-art.
R&D support customers on a direct basis and participate at an early stage in the contacts with new, potential customers.
Manufacturing
The employees working with manufacturing are certified and have an average of 20 years experience. Our manufacturing area includes ESD production in a class 10,000 clean room.
We have equipment such as automatic bonding machines, climate chambers for burn-in and testing and we are equipped to conduct measurements up to 50GHz, including automated test system for large volume products.
