NanOsc is commercializing the Spin Torque Oscillator which is based on the Nobel Prize winning discovery of Giant Magneto Resistance. By combining magnetic multilayers and nanotechnology we create a current and field tunable nano oscillator for applications in the low to high GHz range. NanOsc also has wide competence in various areas of technology and science such as magnetism, magnetic modeling and measurements, thin film deposition of metals and insulators, and clean room processing of a wide range of materials. Sivers IMA has co-developed a spintronic oscillator demonstrator together with NanOsc.
Chalmers University of Technology, the department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience (MC2), Microwave Electronics Laboratory (MEL) is one of the most well-known and respected Microwave research laboratories in the world. Sivers IMA has a continues collaboration with MEL in a variety of technology projects.
The GigaHertz Centre is a joint research and innovation centre between Chalmers University of Technology and industrial partners. The mission of GHz Centre is to carry out collaborative leading research in selected high-frequency technologies and to bring the results from Chalmers to an industrial exploitation phase primarily through its company partners. Sivers IMA takes an active role in the GigaHertz Centre as a company partner.
